Day 1:

The capital of Slovakia – arrival to Bratislava, sightseeing in the historical city centre, walk by the Danube River and visit of Devin Castle towering over the confluence of the Danube and the Morava rivers. Get to know the story of Bratislava and dive into history as well as present of our beloved metropolis. Wine lovers will definitely enjoy the visit of Modra town – a heart of vineyards close to Bratislava city. 300-years old wine cellars invite you for a degustation of the noble beverage.

Day 2:

After breakfast in the hotel, let’s travel about 150 km to the heart of Slovakia and to the most beautiful Slovak town ever – Banska Stiavnica. The city will charm you by its picturesque stone streets, distinctive atmosphere, and sunset view from Kalvaria, with a steaming cup of tea in Klopacka tearoom. What once used to be a miners’ land thanks to its occurrence of precious metals, now turned into the most popular Slovak town. You will simply fall in love with this scenic town. You also get to discover a traditional Slovak family brewery or to bathe in “tajchaʺ – an artificial water reservoir founded by medieval miners. We will see the largest mobile nativity scene in Slovakia – the wood carved Bethlehem of Banska Stiavnica. It depicts the history, development and traditions of the historical mining town.
