Day 1:

Arrival to Poprad airport in Poprad city, Slovakia. As your arrival is scheduled in the evening, you will immediately be accommodated, enjoy your dinner if you are hungry, and you will take some rest. 

Day 2:

After breakfast we will move right to our mountain treasure – High Tatras Mountais (Vysoke Tatry). Quite an easy climb to Strbske Pleso, a nice promenade around the lake, a cup of coffee on a nearby terrace and the next stop ahead – Hrebienok Mountain. You will get an extraordinary experience: a journey to Hrebienok peak by cog railway. An easy hiking around three mountain chalets (Bilikova, Rainerova, Hrebienok) and for those, who are determined enough, even a higher climb towards Zamkovsky Chalet. You will get to taste specialities of the wooden chalets, popular among the tourists in High Tatras. In the evening, we will stay at the foot of the mountains and enjoy a party in a bar or a restaurant, have fun on some event (according to the current list of events and programme).

Day 3:

After a hearty sleep and breakfast we will move to the smallest national park in Slovakia – Pieniny. You will enjoy there an outstanding experience: rafting on the Dunajec River. Those, who prefer calm sailing, can opt for wooden rafts. Sailing, rafting and admiring the breathtaking beauty of the National Park. Slovakia has its own alcohol brand – Tatratea (Tatranský čaj), there are several types and flavours and the strongest contains 90% alcohol. We will get to know its history and production in Karloff factory in Kežmarok. Do you dare to taste a shot?

Day 4:

Let’s discover more of a monument culture in Slovakia: Spiš Castle, covering an area of 4ha, is one of the largest ruin castle systems in Central Europe. The castle dates back to the 12th century and was built on a travertine hill as the border fort of the Hungarian state. After the castle tour, we will move to a nearby town Levoča, an urban conservation area and cultural centre of the Reformation in Slovakia. It is a home to St. Jakub Church, which hides a treasure inside – a remarkable altar, made by Master Pavol, considered as the biggest altar in the world. Enriched with history knowledge of Slovakia, let’s move to Poprad Aqua Park for a well-deserved rest. Or you can use your free time your own way. 

Day 5:

Departure from Poprad Airport early in the morning.
